Creativity built in

To encourage and support an undervalued but essential part of our community, we design for the inclusion of creative content. Not only does this help and encourage the creative arts, it de-commodifies the pieces we build, and ensure they are not consumed, helping shift the world towards a more sustainable economy. By adding creative content, we can delve into traditionally functional items that are otherwise often viewed as commodities being mass-produced in global, low-cost production centres.

When the piece being crafted is not suitable for traditional artistic content, we incorporate details and creativity using our existing internal capacity and controls, coupling unique materials with superfluous features, ultimately preventing our works from becoming tired and commonplace.

Impact fact targets

  • Creative Content to be > 20% of cost
  • Scarcity: limit production batches to < 1000 pieces
