THE WEIGHT
Turntable Record Stabilizer sufficiently eliminates warped records wobble and holds your vinyl record firmly on the turntable. For enthusiasts who enjoy that extra ritualistic step when dropping the needle.
This stylish record stabilizer and weight (also commonly referred to as a record clamp) is CNC-machined from a single piece of quality aluminum. Its design features a knob on top for precise handling and features the FABICI logo, laser etched on natural cork.
THE MAT
Elevate your listening experience with this cork turntable mat.
Cork is a naturally non-conductive material that’s airy and light, soft to the touch yet still pretty tough. It also doesn’t attract dust as much as other mats or the turntable platter itself, and is still easy to clean. It will help reduce static buildup for fewer pops and crackles (disclaimer: we love that part of listening to vinyl!)
The OSLER mat is laser etched with an exclusive line drawing by Jean Melançon, representing a view of Montreal from the Mont-Royal, showcasing the building that inspired our OSLER record stabilizer weight
The story
EXPO 67, the International Fair that took place in 1967, undoubtedly put Montreal on the world map. Two structures fascinated the visitors: real-life-sized 3D-jigsaw puzzle Habitat 67 and the McIntyre Building, a tall 16-story-high, round-shaped building, erected on the abrupt slope of Mount Royal. This building belongs to McGill University and is a major location for its Faculty of Medicine. Its most famous area is the Sir William Osler Library. But who was Sir William Osler?
